Disney World

We had a blast in Disney with the girls this time! They were very good the whole time we were there, they were able to ride a lot of the rides this time with us which was a lot of fun for Mitch and I. There were a few that scared Maddie but she asked if she could ride with us so we would let her and Kenzie got mad because she was to short for the coasters that Maddie could ride but we told her next time we come back they can ride all the rides that they want! They never complained about walking and walked the whole time with Mitch and I! We were very excited about that. they never complained that they were tried or cold when it was cold. they had a ball and loved it and cant wait to go back. The Very Merry Christmas Party!

The Very Merry Christmas Party was a fun party at the Magic Kingdom! We had to buy tickets to get into the the party! Im glad we bought them ahead of time becasue the party was SOLD OUT!! The park was only open for the people that bought the tickets so the wait times for rides were not bad at all!! We give you free hot cocoa and cookies. There a lot of things going on around the park that night and there is even a parade and it snows on main street!! The girls had a great time and even wanted to stay at the the till it closed at 12 a.m. Let me tell you mommy and daddy were very tried at the end of the night and the girls fell asleep on the bus back to the hotel.

Christmas Time in Disney World

Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom was one of the first parks we went to. It was nice because we had extra help that day!! Thanks Clayton and Lana for the extra help!! Mitch's good friend and his wife where at Disney the same time we were going to be there and they ask if we could all spend the day at a park together, which didn't brother me at all because that would be extra help with the girls!! The girls loved having them around, they wouldn't ride anything with Mitch and I, it had to be with Clay and Lana!! It was cold and windy the day we were at Magic Kingdom, but the girls still had a ball, they were very good and never complained about being cold or tried of walking!! They we were really excited about be able to ride a lot of the bigger kids rides this year! They both loved all the rides there and were laughing on just about all of the rides we went on! A big hit with them was Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Goofy's coaster(we rode it 5 times), Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, the Tea Cups, Splash Mountain and Tomorrowland Speedway(thanks Clay for letting Maddie drive with you, hope you neck is ok). We got to see Mickey and Minnies house one last time before they close it down to expand Fantasyland!

Lights at Hollywood Studios

If you ever get to go to Disney World at Christmas time, this is a most see....The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights on the Streets of America at Hollywood Studios!! The millions of lights are synchronized to holiday music. Here is the story behond all the lights....The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights started in Arkansas as a single home's annual display. Every year,the family set up an elaborate collection of holiday lights and over the years, the collection of lights grew, and grew... and grew! In 1995, the Osborne family decided to share their magic with the world, and Walt Disney World Resort happily offered to become the new permanent home for this exceptional exhibition of holiday cheer.

Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom is a neat park too. The girls loved the Kilimanjaro Safari where you get to ride in a jeep and go see all the animals roam free in the 100-acre savanna in the Africa. You get real close to some of the animals and some times they walk right in front or behind the jeep with is really cool. We got up and close to a lot of animals that day, the girls loved it so much that they asked to ride it again so we did!!! Next it was on to Expedition Everest in the Asia area, Maddie wanted to ride it so back but I knew she wouldn't like once it started going fast and backwards, and I was right Mitch rode it with her and she didn't like it and wanted off of it so back...he walked out and said well looks like your riding it be yourself she didn't like it at all! Then we watched Finding Nemo-The Musical, the girls loved it and were singing and dancing right along with them! So Cute!!! Next we headed over to see the Festival of the Lion King and after that musical was over we saw that the line was not long to see Minnie and Goofy and Kenize loved that they were dressed up for Christmas....so cute!!

Hollywood Studios

We went to Hollywood Studios two different times!! It is one of my favorite parks in Disney World!!! We were able to meet up with our friends Clayton and Lana for the day at Hollywood Studios which was a lot of fun and nice to have extra hands with the girls!!! The girls loved riding tower of terror and rode it 5 different times, they laughed the whole time they were riding it!! We got to eat lunch at Hollywood and Vine with characters, we got to see Leo, June, Handy Manny and OSO! The girls loved eating lunch with them! It was a nice way to see the characters and not have to wait in line for a long time! One of their favorite shows there was Playhouse Disney Live on Stage!!!
