Christmas #8

It was finally Christmas time with my family!! My sister in law had it this year at her house and I just had to make the chili for dinner! I just love being around my family! We were just missing a few people this year and glad that my aunt and uncle where is Florida with the grand kids having Christmas and my cousin and her family! They can only make it up either other year from Naples, I sure do miss them!

Santa Has Been Here

Santa has made it to the Kahl house! the girls were up bright and early this year, they came in our room at 6 a.m. ready to go play with everything. We tried to get them to lay down with us but they were not having it, becasue our room is on the other side of the house so they saw what they got when they came to get us up!

Christmas #7

It is Christmas eve and we went to Aunt Chris's house for dinner and family time which was nice!!! We don't ever get to Aunt Chris's tell late because we are at Christmas eve with my family but my aunt and uncle where in FL this year with the their grandkids so we got to be on time to Aunt Chris's house, with was nice! It was fun just to sit back with family and talk and enjoy the night, till it was time to go home and get ready for Santa!

Christmas #6

We had Christmas with Mitch's mom tonight! Let's just say our girls are very lucky to have some many people that love to get them stuff!! We had dinner there and then it was time to open gifts!! They are very spoiled girls! The got barbie dolls and games and even a gift card to toysrus! They can't wait to spend it! I got money and a gift card! Mitch got money and a gift card too...can't go wrong there!! No pictures because we had to stop at Maddie dance studio and get her all signed up and we were running late again!!

Gingerbread House and Train Making

We made our gingerbread house and train again this year!! The girls love making them and are getting a lot better at doing them! It is a lot of fun to watch them make them! Mitch has never done them so it is a nice thing for him!!

Christmas #5

Today was Mitch's step mom's side of the family christmas party! We went to grandma Margies house for dinner and gift exchange! We are about ham, green beans, mac and cheesed out here people! I had to wake the girls up from a nap that I got them to lay down for, that never happens anymore! So we were rushed to get out the door and we got there late. No camera again. They got some more toys and bath towels and bath stuff!!

Christmas #4

I made dinner for our friends and neighbors that live down the street and love our girls like they are their own!! So I told them I would make dinner and we would have our gift exchange with the kids!!! The girls opened their gifts to fast before I could get the camera out of the bag and turned on!

Christmas #3

A few days ago we had Christmas with Mitch's dad and Step mom. We are very spoiled by them and glad to have them as a part of our family!!! We had dinner and the girls ate really fast because they knew what was coming next.....I was eating and they would say is it time....and then come back 2 minutes later and ask again, I told them if they ask again I'm going to eat really really slow! Well it was time to open the gifts!! They handed all the gifts out to everyone and then they sat down with the load of gifts and counted to make sure they both had the same number. They went thought their gifts in 5 minutes and where asking for more!! They got some neat stuff!! They are going to see The Disney Princesses Live and are sitting front row!

Christmas #2

The Kahl Family Christmas was up next!! We don't get gifts for anyone, we all make some food and eat and then the kids get to make crafts! Tara had it this year and did a wonderful job at hosting!!! I was in a rush to get my nacho dip made get the girls a bath and hair fixed and out the door and get myself ready to go. I again forgot my camera. Might I add that Mitch was at the Colt's games sitting four rows from the field while I was at home getting everything and everyone ready to go! I was getting ready to walk out the door when I get a text from Mitch....these seats are awesome and then I got a picture, I said thanks for rubbing it in. I might add that they won that game, first game all year long!!! Yay!!! We got to Tara's and ate different soups that everyone made and then it was time for crafts for the kids!! They made reindeer food and snowman made out of popsicle sticks and a reindeer ornament and even painted a glass ornament. After they we all done Aunt Diane got all the kid together for the christmas story!!

Christmas #1

We have started the busy holiday Christmas parties!!! It is fun but wears on us fast!! Our first one this year was with Mitch's moms side of the family! His aunt Kathy made some really yummy chicken!!! It was so good!!! I forgot my camera.....boo.
We ate dinner and then it was time to open gifts, the girls couldn't wait any longer to open them! They got a lot of neat stuff from everyone!!

Maddie's Christmas Play

Maddie had a Christmas play at school this year. It was called Humbug!! She was asked be the music teacher to stay after school and have a dance part in the play!! Let's just say I was one proud mom when she got right up there and danced away!!!

Kenzie's Field Trip To Derby Dinner

I got to go to Derby Dinner with Kenzie and her class for a field trip. We got to see a really cute play. Kenzie really liked it. After the play they took 4 kindergarten classes to King Fish to eat lunch.... lets just say that was fun!! Their little shirts where so cute that they made to wear to the play. Thanks for picking me to go with you Kenzie I had a blast.

The girls got to shop at the Santa's secret shop at school. They just could wait til Christmas to give us the things they got us!!
