Graduation Day for Ms. Mackenzie Kahl

Ok, I'm warning you now this is going to be a long post! Yesterday was Kenzies graduation from pre-k ( I hope I can make it trough this without crying again). The program they put on for us was very cute! I'm so glad that Kenzie was up there singing and having a good time with her friends! They got to wear cap and gowns! They marched into the song called "lET THEM BE LITTLE" (let me tell you that is when the tears started when I saw her walk in with a really big smile on her face just waving away at us)!! I told myself to get it together and enjoy this moment! Kenzie has came a long way with school! The first day she didn't want to leave my side and now she is ready to go when she wakes up in the mornings and can't stop talking about how much fun she had that day and who all she played with and who all she has invited over after school! It was a very special day for Kenzie, Mrs Vicki had it all planned out so nice for the graduates and their family and friends that came to watch!

Mrs. Vicki, this is Kenzie's teacher and let me tell you a little something about her. She is one talented lady. It is really had for me to let my girls go with someone for the day and when we met her i knew she would work wonders on Kenzie. The very first day of school Kenzie cried going in and was not happy at all broke my heart and Mrs. Vicki said everything would be fine. Well after school she had the biggest smile on her face and talked the whole ride home! The next day she was ready to go and even hoped right out of the car when they got her out! Mrs. Vicki said a lot of nice thing about Kenzie to me after graduation, saying she was a very big helper with others and has a lot of friends in class. I sure am going to miss her next year!

Tuesday night I cut the grass and had a little helper, to bad her lawn mower didn't really work! She walked behind me the whole time!

After school, we went and played at the silver creek elementary playground, Kenzie's friend from preschool met us there! They had a great time playing together and I love watching them play, they get along so good!

Turning 5!

Im turing 5 in just 16 days......

It's just about time!

I can't believe this little lady is graduating from pre-k tomorrow....



Where oh where has time gone! I'm going to cry tomorrow at graduation, but I'm really excited for the new chapter you are starting in your life! I still cant believe it is time for you to start kindergarten. You have made some really good friends this year and I hope that one or two of your friends are in the same class as you next year! You have taken a liking to your teacher and adjusted really well, I hope that kindergarten will as good and even better then this year! Mommy and daddy are so proud of you and love you very much!

Camp Kindergarten

Last night was Kenzie's camp kindergarten! She was talking about it all day long and was so excited to go, well on the way to school she fell asleep (if you know her not a good thing for us). I woke her up when we got to school, she was not very happy at all, she had to be held for a little bit and then started to warm up. We got to eat "lunch" (really dinner) in the lunch room and had to wait in line to get our food which she knew how it works from preschool! Then the called the green group to line up (this is where she had to leave us and go to others rooms to do fun times), I didn't know how this was going to work out for us, but one of her friends was in her group so it made it easier for her to go away from us. She got to go to music class, p.e. class, the play ground and to art to draw a picture of herself and the best part was she got to ride on the school bus to learn safety!!! She got off the bus and had a big smile on her face! She had a ball, and I'm so glad she did! We start kindergarten Aug. 16th, that will be a sad day in The Kahl house!

Mother's Day & Mitch's Birthday

The girls made me Mother's day stuff at school this year! They couldnt let me wait till sunday to open them, I had to open them that friday they brought them home!

Sunday we had family out and cooked out for Mother's day and Mitch's birthday! He turned the big 25 this year, he wouldnt let me take any pictures of him and his birthday cake, what a party pooper!!! lol! Happy Bithday hunny, hope you had a wonderful, hope you got everything you asked for!
