Zoo Trip for Maddie

Today Maddie had a field trip to the zoo or the Louisville zoo as she called it! When they first sent the permission slip home I asked her if she wanted me or daddy to go and she said no I want to ask papaw to go with me! I was a little hurt that she didn't want me to go with her! But my dad and her are very close! So we called him on the phone and asked if he could take off work and go with her and he said sure he would love to go. Well she had a blast with him today! They saw all the animals and some even two times! They had a snack over there which she wanted nachos! Before leaving she talked papaw into going in the gift shop, I think that is why she really wanted him to go!! Then she asked him to stop at McDonald's for food and ice cream! She was a very sleepy girl when she got home, napped for 2 hours and she never naps! He would not take the camera over there so the only picture I have is before she left for school with her shirt she painted! So cute!!

Easter 2011

We started celebrating Easter on saturday at Kahls Body Shop for the annual Kahl Family Easter. It was pouring down rain the whole day so we had to do the egg hunt inside the body shop, talk about worried mom, the bad things where going thought my head, what if a tool falls on a kid or they fall and hurt themselves on something! Sunday we got up and went to mass and then off to Mitchs moms house again the egg hunt was inside this year due to rain all day long! Then it was off to my dads house! What a fun filled day for the girls! They got clothes and rain boots from the ester bunny, I'm so bad and forgot to take pictures! Ugh!

Maddie's 6th Birthday Party

Maddie turned 6 on April 14th!! I can't believe how fast time is going, she is getting to big! She wanted to have a zebra print theme for her birthday! So that's what I planned for! We used hot pink and lime green in there too! I loved how everything turned out! The weather was nice that day but it had rained the night before so the yard was still muddy! Thanks to everyone that was able to make it and make her day very special!

Maddie is Turning 6

Wow my baby is going to be 6 in less then a week! Where has time gone? She is so excited about her party! It is zebra print theme!! Come back later and see and pictures from her party!

Pre-Kindergarten Sign ups

I cant believe the time has come again to sign Kenzie up for school! I feel like I was just doing this for Maddie! They grow up so fast! Kenzie is excited to go to Kindergarten with all her friends but doesnt want to leave Mrs. Vicki's class but she said all her friends are going to Kindergarten so it will be fun! We will see on the frist day of school!! Maddie doesnt want to be in frist grade!

Bingo Party

Kenzie had a BINGO for books party at school today and she could have a friend come with her! I asked her who she wanted to go with her and she said my dadda! I was sad because I love seeing her around her friends! Daddy said she did really well and was not shy at all! I forgot to send the camrea with him so no pictures!
