Back to School

Today was the Girls first day back at their home school Henryville!! We are so so thankful for the workers that worked really hard for the last 5 months to get their school ready into for them to head back!!

Beach Vacation 2012

Dad asked if we want to join them at the beach this summer and it happened to work out that we could go with them. Let me just tell you right now I'm not a fan of the ocean and I'm more of a Disney World girl and was nervous going to the beach for a week and not having much around to do and I thought the kids would get tried of it fast! But boy was I wrong, we had a BLAST and cant wait to go back again, it was pretty and the beach house was awesome!!! It was so relaxing and the kids just loved to be in the waves or playing in the sand and looking for shells or even crab hunting at night with papaw and deda. I will say I even got in the ocean thanks to my sister-in-law for making me get in!!

Kenzie's 6th Birthday

Kenzie turned 6 on June 9th! I can't believe that my baby girl is growing up so fast. We had a pool party for her birthday this year and it just so happened that our cousin was in from Ohio with her little boy so we had his party with Kenzie's because they are never in town on his birthday to have it with the Kahl side!

1st and Last Day of School

I wanted to take pictures to see how much the girls have changed from the 1st day of school till the last day of school!! We are very proud of you all for a great school year!!! They can't wait to be "home"!!!

Dad's Party

My dad was turning 60 this year and even planning on retiring on his birthday!! Well it all happened on May 18th, 2012!!! Dava (his wife) had this great plan to throw him a big party!!! Well I love to plan parties so I was in. We just had to keep it a secret because it was a surprise for him! Well all the planning was going great and he knew nothing about it. Friday morning I met Dava at the place to sit everything up and dad called to tell me he had a new cell phone number so I let it go to voice mail. At about 4p.m. that day he called grandma to tell her his new cell phone number and she gave it away about the party,she said Jan is coming to pick me up at 6p.m. we will see you later that night! Well he still was surprised to see everyone there and even a few people he didn't think would make it in to town for it!

Spring Dance Recital

The girls have been working really hard in dance class and loving every minute of dance. They had been working really hard on learning their dances for recital!! They did an awesome job and I was so proud of them!!

Playing Catch Up Again

I don't know why I let myself get so far behind on my blog but I'm at it again.....playing catch up! I should have everything done by this weekend.....a goal I'm sitting for myself!!!!

Maddie's 7th Birthday Party

Oh my!! I cant believe that you are 7, I remember the day you were born. I went to a doctor visit and they said your heart rate was low that I needed to go to the hospital and be monitored for a few hours and the next thing I know the doctor said that you were going to be born today...wow and here we are 7 years later!! You are growing up to be an awesome little girl and I'm very proud of you and so glad god blessed me with you in my life!! I love you very much Madison Ann!!
